Another year is behind us and as we strive forward in these difficult times we can't thank each and every one of you enough for choosing Pumula Beach Hotel as your choice of destination!

I am really excited to let you know that we are Finalists in the AA Travel Awards this year which will be held on the 9th of May 2010 in Durban. A Big Thank you to all of our Guests for voting for us, please hold thumbs!

STAFF

Tamlyn Horner our Ex Banqueting and Front Office Manager is now based at Head Office involved in Special Projects, Marketing, Launches and Database Management.

Veronica Worthmann has joined us as Front Office and Banqueting Manager. We wish Veronica a warm pumula Welcome.

Nothando Shebi has been promoted to reservations Assistant, Well Done!

Anita Williams at Head Office is also now assisting Pumula Beach Hotel with our Marketing and Sales - Thanks a million, it sure does help!

Hotel Rooms

All our hotel rooms have undergone a major renovation and are now complete with new beds, curtains, bedspreads, artwork and flooring. Room 37 and 38, completely refurbished and made larger, can now comfortably accommodate families with 4 children and both rooms now have sea-view. A new staircase by-pass room 29 creating more privacy. We take great pride in our hotel and upgrades to rooms and facilities are ongoing.

Wellness Centre

The new gym at the hotel has been open a few months now and has been well received by our Guests. A new multi-gym will be added soon.

We are very excited about our plans for a new Wellness Centre. Construction is due to start shortly!

World Cup

Pumula Beach Hotel will be honouring our standard peak rates during the World Cup! We still have availability, but rooms are selling fast so please contact Kelly on 039-6846717 for your reservation. This is a great opportunity to get away from the City chaos and enjoy some time out with the family; as well as watching all the matches in Joe's Tavern!

Entertainment

Once again a big round of applause to Staff members Aloma Botes and Vincent Nsele that assist with entertaining the children. The feedback we get from Guests is Excellent - THANK YOU!!!

Condolonces

Our deepest condolences go out to Mrs Karen Treloar and her daughter Taytum (One of our very regular Guests) on their tragic loss of a great husband and father Chris Treloar. Our thoughts are with you!

Weddings

Congratulations to Tom and Sarah Macquet and Andrew and Lindsay Wooler. We hope we assisted in creating some happy memories on your special day, and wish you all the very best for the many happy years ahead!
